Ninja Love!!

The affections between Black Ninja and White Ninja were becoming more obvious than usual.

Black Ninja's telling of "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

"Twas the night before christmas, and all through the house
The ninjas were partying and dancing with Ninja pet mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hope that  Santa claus would soon visit there

Later that night the ninjas nestled into bed
With visions of ninja  fighters  floating in their heads
And White Ninja in her night dress, and I wearing a cap
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap

When out on the lawn there rose such a clatter
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter
Away to the window I flew with a flash
I tripped on my slippers and tore open the sash

The moon light shown over the new fallen snow
And it all seemed to sparkle on the objects below
When what to my wondering eyes should  appear
A little red sleigh and eight miniture reighdeer

With a little old driver so lively and quick
I knew in a moment it had to be St Nick
More rapid than eagles his reighdeer came
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name

Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prance and Vixen
On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen
To the top of the porch! Up the side of the wall!
Now fly away, fly away, now fly away all!

They made without haste and began to fly
When they met with an obstacle, mount to the sky
So up to the house-top the reighdeer they flew
With a sleigh full of gifts, and Santa Claus too

And then with the tinking of bells, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof
As I smiled to myself and turned back around
Down the chimney Santa came with a bound

He was dress like a ninja, from his head to his foot
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot
A bundle of goodies he had slung off his back
Made him look like a peddler just opening jis pack

His eyes sparkled and how they twinkled, his dipples so merry
His cheeks were so rosy and his nose like a fat cherry
His happy little smile was all drawn up like a bow
And his beard from his chin was as white as snow

The stump of his pipe was held tight in his teeth
And the merry smoke encircled him like a wreath
He had a chubby masked face and a big round belly
That shook when he laughed like a bowel full of jelly

He was chubby and plump, certainly a joy old elf
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself
A wink of his eye, and a twist of his head
Soon told me that I had nothing to dread

He spoke not a word, but when straight to his work
And filled all the stocking and turned with a smirk
And laying a finger on the side of his nose
And giving a nod, up, up the chimney he goes

He jumped in his sleigh, to his team he gave a whistle
And away they all flew like downing of a thistle
But I heard him exclaim, as they drove out of sight

Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night!"
